A note to Members of the Lodge....
If you have not attended the Lodge recently, you may not have had any formal communication from anyone in your “Mother Lodge” for some time, and for that lack of communication, apologies are tendered.
So to give you an update, the Lodge has undergone major decoration and repairs over the last couple of years and is now looking much better for it. The Lodge has been fully rewired, and there have been extensive repairs to the roof. The heating system has also been upgraded and this has encouraged many visitors back to the Lodge over the last session.
These improvements are ongoing, but obviously it will take time, and money.
It would be nice therefore to see some old faces attending the Lodge again at our regular meetings so that the members of Lodge St. David (Tarbolton) Mauchline No.133 would once again outnumber our Visitors!
We would be very pleased to welcome you back into the Lodge, no matter how long your absence.
Just for your information, all that is required now to allow you to attend the Lodge meetings and enable you to be clear in the books , is £30.00 (one years Test fee).
We would also encourage members of the Lodge to consider setting up a Standing Order to automatically pay your Test Fees which are due annually in September. This is a convenient way to ensure that you are always "clear in the books" and means that the Lodge is getting your ongoing support.
(Standing Order Forms for this purpose are available HERE, or from any Lodge Office Bearer).
Could you please think seriously about giving up some of your time to come back and enjoy the Masonic friendship and camaraderie associated with Lodge St David once again and also to support the members who are working hard to maintain and strengthen the Masonic tradition of Robert Burns Mother Lodge.
Please feel free to contact myself, any Past Master or Office Bearer, if you would like any more information, or to chat about any of the above.
Fraternally Yours,
John R. Fleming

Mrs Park's Father, Bro John Rowan PM (deceased) was an active member and Past Master of the Lodge. John was Master of the Lodge in 1950/51.
