27-Mar-2011Ian Gregory   Kent, EnglandFraternal Greetings to All the Brethren of St David. My late father was admitted on July 29th 1946 shortly before the family left for Africa. I myself entered the Brotherhood in Africa - the Rhodes Centenary Lodge No 7215 EC. However for several reasons I was unable to join a Lodge when I retuned to the UK with my family in 1983. I am now thankfully in the process rejoining a Lodge and getting back into the Brotherhood. I have sent an email separate to this re the possibilities of visiting to which l very much look forward to especially visiting Mauchline the village I grew up in.

13-Dec-2011 W. Bro. John Strange PM. LGR. Lodge of Three Kindred Lights No. 5066

My father was very recently taken into care in the Dementia Support Unit at the RMBI Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, Care Home near Braintree in Essex.

The name of the DSU is the David Mauchline.

To try and find some background to David Mauchline I searched on Google and was directed to your website which I find absolutely first class.

Besides wanting to be recorded as a visitor to your site I wonder if you are able to throw any light as to whether there there is any connection between your lodge and the naming of the DSU at PEDOKC.

My father and I are both member's (he being an honorary member) and PM's of the Lodge of Three Kindred Lights No. 5066.

Yours sincerely and fraternally,

W. Bro. John Strange PM. LGR.
